If your business appears on Under the Veil and the price data isn't right — fix it. We don't take payment for placement, we don't sell brides as leads, and we don't hide negative reviews. But we will let you submit your current pricing and add a "Verified by vendor" badge so couples know they're seeing official numbers.

What your listing looks like after

Calamigos Ranch

Verified by vendor

Brides see the badge above your headline price. The badge links back to this page so they know what it means.

01 / Why claim

Three reasons to be on the record

You can ignore us. The page exists either way. But the version that gets indexed by Google is the one with whatever data we found scraping the public web — which is almost certainly less flattering than the version you'd publish yourself.

i

Your numbers, not someone else's

Right now, your listing pulls from whatever wedding blog last reviewed you, your own website's "starting at" line, and bride submissions. You can replace all of that with your current 2026 pricing — and have it stay current.

ii

The badge becomes the differentiator

When a bride is comparing your listing to a competitor's, the one with the "Verified by vendor" badge looks more transparent — and transparency is exactly what brides are searching for when they end up here.

iii

You see the same data brides see

Claimed listings get a quarterly digest of every observation, submission, and review tied to your business — including ones that didn't get published. You learn what brides are actually paying competitors and what they're saying about you, all in one place.

02 / How it works

The process

  1. i

    Submit the claim form

Tell us who you are, which listing you're claiming, and how to verify you actually work for this business. We accept any of: a business email matching the venue's domain, a screenshot of your venue's CMS, or a brief Loom video of you on your venue's premises.

    ~5 minutes
  2. ii

    We verify and respond

A human reviewer confirms you are who you say you are. We do not require legal paperwork — we require enough evidence that approving your claim is the obviously-right call. If something is unclear, we'll email you with one specific question.

    Within 48 hours
  3. iii

    You upload your current pricing

PDF, image, or pasted text. Whatever format you'd send to a bride who asked for a quote. We'll structure it into the same fields the rest of the index uses: per-person rate, base package, what's included, what's not, fees and tax.

    ~10 minutes
  4. iv

    The badge goes live

Your listing updates with the "Verified by vendor" badge, your submitted prices float to the top of the rollup, and the "Last updated by venue" timestamp shows brides exactly when you last refreshed the data. You can update anytime.

03 / What you get

What a claimed listing actually does

All of this is free. There is no paid tier of vendor claim. There never will be.

Verified by vendor badge

Visible on your listing page, in the leaderboard, and in any newsletter feature you appear in. Links back to this page so brides understand what it means.

Top placement of your numbers

Your submitted pricing becomes the headline number on your listing, ranked above aggregated and self-reported observations. You can update it as often as your real pricing changes.

Quarterly insights digest

Every three months, an email summary of every observation, review, and bride submission tied to your business — including what brides paid competitors in your market.

Direct correction line

A dedicated email address that goes straight to a reviewer (not a support queue) for any data you find on your listing that you believe is wrong. We respond within one business day.

Last-updated timestamp

Brides see exactly when you last refreshed your pricing. Vendors who keep their data current build trust faster than vendors with stale numbers.

Right to respond on reviews

If we publish a critical review or a low rating, claimed vendors can attach a reply that appears alongside the original. We do not delete the original, but we make sure your side is on the page too.

04 / Vendor FAQ

Questions we get from venues and vendors

If you don't see your question here, email [email protected].

Why is my listing here in the first place? I never gave you permission.
Your listing exists because you operate a public-facing wedding business and your prices are a matter of public concern for the couples who hire you. We did not need permission to aggregate publicly-published information any more than Yelp needs permission to list a restaurant. Claiming the listing is the way to control what appears on it — but the listing itself isn't going away.
Can I just have my listing removed?
In almost all cases, no. We treat venue and vendor pricing as legitimate consumer-interest information. The exceptions are: businesses that have permanently closed, listings that appear to have factual errors we cannot correct, and listings created from a single bad-faith submission with no corroborating data. Email us if you think your listing falls into one of those categories.
Can I pay to remove negative reviews?
No. Not at any price. This is the single most common question we get from vendors, and it is a hard "no." What you can do as a claimed vendor is post a public response that appears alongside the original review. We do not edit, soften, or delete reviews based on vendor objections. We will, however, remove a review that turns out to be factually false — bring us evidence and we'll investigate.
Can I pay to boost my ranking?
No. The leaderboard ranks by data quality and submission volume — verified beats self-reported beats aggregated, and within each tier we rank by how many independent observations support the entry. We do not have a paid tier and we are not building one. If we ever do, we will disclose it on the methodology page within 30 days.
A bride submitted a price that's just wrong. She's misremembering what she paid.
If you have evidence — a contract, an invoice, an email exchange showing the actual price — submit it through the claim flow with a note explaining the discrepancy. A reviewer will compare both sources and either correct the record or explain why we kept the original. We never reveal the bride's identity to you, but we do take vendor evidence seriously, especially from claimed listings.
Will you share bride contact information with me as a paying vendor?
No. This is the entire revenue model of every other wedding marketplace and we do not do it. The only way to get in front of brides on Under the Veil is to have your pricing be transparent enough that they want to contact you directly. The contact link on your listing goes to your own website, not through us.
What's the actual catch?
There isn't one. Our business model — when we have one — will be a paid B2B data product for wedding industry analysts, and possibly a subscription for brides who want premium features like price alerts and saved comparisons. None of those touch the vendor side of the product. Vendor claims are free because the data is what makes the consumer side worth using, and the data needs vendors to keep it honest.
